More Playtime

We are excited to introduce a couple of new playscape pieces to our exercise yards and puppy play areas. The highlight so far seems to be the teeter totter for the puppies. We are still saving up for the big fancy playground equipment, but new toys are a must now that it is too cold to play in the dog pools.

After attending an educational seminar in Oklahoma and listening to Dr. Marty Greer give her many examples of enriching toys and experiences, I have a bunch of new ideas to try out in the kennel. My puppies are going to love trying some of the food exposure treats and games for sure.

When the weather is blah we have to put more effort into enrichment, but it brightens our day as humans too. It's rewarding to see our little nuggets and sweet snuggle dogs experience something new and interesting.
